Delivering Results: Fall 2009 Update on the Long Range Facilities Plan
On October 13, 2009, school officials received an update on the implementation of the Long Range Facilities Plan. Duluth residents have been actively involved throughout implementation of the Plan, with citizen design teams working hard to ensure each school meets unique community needs . Among the results, so far:
Four schools are finished.
- Stowe Elementary
- Homecroft Elementary
- Lowell Elementary
- Lakewood Elementary
Work is in progress at four schools.
- Denfeld High School
- Lester Park/Rockridge Elementary
- Eastern High School
- Eastern Middle School
Plans are in place and construction will start soon at three schools.
- Western Middle School
- Laura MacArthur Elementary
- Lincoln-Piedmont Elementary
Citizens are in the process of designing two schools.
- Grant/Nettleton Elementary
- Congdon Park Elementary
